Free Training Workshops for Teachers in Chile
The EducaRed programme of Fundación Telefónica Chile is offering two free workshops to the academic community that aim to deliver knowledge and teaching methodologies using Information and Communications Technologies.

On this occasion a mathematics workshop will be presented which aims to help teachers get to know and manage software tools for processing information and access to communications, so they can incorporate the use of ICTs linked to the school curriculum in their courses, understanding that in the current environment the incorporation of these tools is a vital part of the teaching and learning model.
In particular, the workshop will involve initial and more in-depth work with two tools for the study of geometry and mathematics, using GeoGebra and ThatQuiz software. Their practical applications connected with the use of blogs in the Blogger platform will be studied.
Classes will be conducted face-to-face, given by teachers specialising in each of the topics proposed, who will present the content in a practical and theoretical manner, incorporating the curriculum schedules required by the Ministry of Education of Chile.
