Objectives

General objectives

  • To act as the channel for employees wishing to take part in solidarity initiatives.
  • To carry out social interest initiatives on a proactive basis and in line with the aims of the Telefónica Group.
  • To stimulate voluntary action by all of the Group's employees and encourage their participation.
  • To motivate and reinforce corporate pride in the Group's employees.
  • To build a bridge between the company and the community, nourishing the feeling of working together for mutual benefit.
  • To give employees the opportunity to discover and develop new personal skills and increase their ability to work in diversity.

Specific objectives

  • To harness the collaboration of volunteer employees in Telefónica Group's social action projects.
  • To offer employees general and specific training so as to give them the tools they need to formulate and set up social projects.
  • To promote the formulation of social projects by volunteers.
  • To accompany and assist volunteers during the implementation and assessment of projects.
  • To strengthen links between volunteers and organisations in the social sector.
