In Guayaquil, Manta and Portoviejo, a project offering English language grants is being organised for participants in the social and educational programmes of Fundación Telefónica. This initiative will be carried out through an alliance with the COPEI language school of the Secondary Education Assistance Foundation (Fundación de Ayuda a la Educación Media – FUNDAEM).

Members of Fundación Telefónica’s Youth Network from different provinces in Ecuador, such as Esmeraldas, Manabí and Guayas, acted as reporters in the 4th International Meeting Against Child Labour, which was held during the past month of June in Quito, and attended by personalities such as the Nobel Peace Price laureate, Rigoberta Menchú.
