Scratch Day

Fundación Telefónica joins the Scratch Day celebrations that will take place in 22 cities around the globe, hosting over 40 activities

 

Espacio Fundación Telefónica will host an informative session on Scratch and several robotics workshops for children, as well as a videoconference session with Dublin, Bilbao, New Jersey and Bogota, where similar activities will be taking place. Scratch opens a new world of possibilities for the interaction between software and reality. Scratch Day is an idea created and developed by the “Lifelong Kindergarten Group” of the MIT Media Lab.

Scratch Day is an event that takes place in different cities across the globe, providing a meeting pointfor all those interested in sharing by learning and learning by sharing, using Scratch as their common link. The entity or group of people taking the initiative to organize Scratch Day in their area will be the ones to decide who it should be aimed at, and the approach that it should take, as well as the round tables, demonstrations…

Scratch is a computer application intended mainly for children, which allows them to explore and experience computer programming concepts by way of a simple graphic user interface.

Scratch Day Workshops. From 21 to 24 May, from 18 to 20 hours in Classroom 1 at Espacio.
