Telefónica’s Artistic Heritage comprises paintings, sculptures, photographs, and printed works by national and international artists, representatives of the most relevant artistic trends of the 20th and 21st Centuries. Although all works are part of the same fund, they have been structured into different collections, in accordance with the designation appointed to each work at the time it was purchased. A portion of these designations, such as the “Cubist Collection”, the “Contemporary Photography” or “Renovative Figuration” make reference to the artistic contents of the works themselves. On the other hand, other are assigned based on the moment in which they were acquired, or the objective they fulfilled when they were bought, such as Telos and the “Other Works” block. These designations are maintained in the search engine, as they somehow illustrate the Company’s collecting history and interests.
