Fundación Telefónica, as sponsor and founder of LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial in Gijón, is presenting the exhibition“Universo vídeo. Historias fugaces”,which, through the video-art works of 12 Latin American artists, offers an exercise for the reconstruction of the memory.
The videos shown at the exhibition are focused on short stories, re-enactments of moments from family and collective history. These works invite us to revisit the past, yet not from a desire to relive it, but to approach an interpretation of the numerous aspects of the past.
