Espacio Fundación Telefónica in Buenos Aires presents "Martin Bonadeo. Bellico”, from warfare to poetry to beauty, an exhibition that gathers the most representative works by this Argentinean artist, who, from the very start of his career has focused on the integration of art with technology.
The works included in the exhibition are related to different inventions of the 19th Century - such as Alexander Graham Bell's telephone - and explore their consequences on today's life.
Six out of the ten works exhibited were created with recycled materials, including cellular phones, analogue phones, helicoidal telephone wires, connectors, device parts, phonebook pages, insulators and even ovenbird nests.
In “Martín Bonadeo. Bellico” several works include sounds, telephone recordings, movement or light, inviting visitors to interact with them in order to understand them better.
