Infinito Paisaje (Infinite Landscape)

The Espacio Fundación Telefónica in Buenos Aires presents “Infinito Paisaje” (Infinite Landscape), an exhibition that brings together works by the Brazilian artists Katia Maciel and André Parente.

Take note:

Dates: From 8 April to 11 June, 2011
Venue: Espacio Fundación Telefónica in Buenos Aires.

The exhibition includes video projections and interactive installations that address subjects such as Brazilian landscapes and sentimental relationships, resorting both to the cinematographic and video language and to technological means.

Daniela Bousso, curator of the show, points out that Maciel and Parente “work exactly at the meeting point of complex operations between cinema and literature, video and visual arts. They create interactivity devices that challenge the spectator to become a visitor”.

Infinito Paisaje is the result of the collaboration between the Museum of Image and Sound of São Paulo (MIS) and Espacio Fundación Telefónica, and is developed within the context of an exchange program thanks to which the MIS will be able to showcase works by Argentinean artists Hernán Marina, Leo Nuñez, Mariano Sardón and Augusto Zanela, and Brazilian artists Katia Maciel and André Parente, while Espacio Fundación presents “Infinito Paisaje”.
