The conference takes place within the context of the cycle that Fundación Telefónica is devoting to the new jobs opened by the Internet and Information and Communication Technologies. On this occasion the purpose was to become better acquainted with the current duties and future challenges of digital artists and web designers.
Digital art is understood as the set of creative activities that resort to digital technologies to create or showcase an artistic piece or work.
The professional mission of a web designer is to plan, design and implement a website, in other words, to establish the design of an online site considering aesthetical, navigability, interactivity, usability, information architecture, and multimedia element interaction criteria.
