From out of the mists of time, the Incas came to populate Cusco. Their actions over time were to make them part of the largest and most powerful state in ancient Peru. Their history, legends, culture, etc. may be consulted by users from all over the world thanks to a webiste containing a range of multimedia content. This includes the history of Tahuantinsuyo, videos and animations, a gallery of imagenes and another of maps. It offers the options of consulting text, video and visual material (illustrations, photos and three-dimensional reconstructions).
The project, which was carried out under the auspices of the Fundación Telefónica, was directed by the prestigious ethnohistorian María Rostworowski.
