Proniño is on the move

What is the Proniño caravan?

Proniño provides help to thousands of children in Latin America, changing an uncertain present and future into one full of possibilities. How? Collaborating in the eradication of child labour, providing support to the communities they live in, and supporting school attendance.

To mark the International 2008 International Day against Child Labour, Fundación Telefónica launched the "Proniño Caravan", a roaming informative campaign whose mission was to raise awareness in society of the issue of child labour in Latin America.

The Proniño caravan visited a total of 33 Spanish cities in the 48 days of its trip, travelling almost 15,000 kilometres.

2009 Proniño Caravan

In 2009, Fundación Telefónica again launched the “Proniño caravan II”, which will travel through 31 Spanish cities over 18 weeks, with the same mission, through activities, games and informative videos based on an educational plan.

Educational centres in towns on the route of the caravan will receive an invitation from Fundación Telefónica to participate in the project.
The educational centres interested in visiting the caravan will receive the information and materials necessary to carry out pre-visit activities.

Those centres who have not yet received an invite may request one through:
