Over a hundred people gathered together at the Matadero Madrid to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Asociación Realidades. The event included an exhibition of audiovisual and photographic works developed in collaboration with Telefónica Volunteers.
Madrid, 15 June 2012.- The 20th Anniversary of Asociación Realidades, celebrated on 8 June, at the Matadero Madrid, drew a crowd of over one-hundred guests. During the event, audiovisual and photographic works developed with the collaboration of Telefónica Volunteers were exhibited, accompanied by the program senior managers, Marián Juste and José Félix Dones.
Attendees at the event included the Director General of Social Services of the Autonomous Community of Madrid, Carmen Pérez Anchuela, the Manager of Samur social (Emergency Health Services), Darío Pérez Madera, and Pedro Núñez, of the Assembly of Madrid.
The objective of the collaboration work of Telefónica Volunteers with Asociación Realidades has entailed the development of a communication strategy to raise awareness about the instrumental work carried out by Realidades throughout the last two decades on a daily basis with the Homeless. Volunteer support will continue through the end of 2012.
