Art & technology Exhibitions Spain
The exhibition which will remain open through 22 October at LABoral, Gijón, will take visitors on a journey through the creative world of the music video.
Gijón, 4 July 2012.- The exhibition “eCLIPSe” includes a selection of 50 works, essential to understand a field that has been considered a form of artistic expression in itself, and as the meeting point for the visual arts and cultural industries.
“eCLIPSe” plots an historic tour that revisits key moments in the history of the music video. It also includes two monographs devoted to two of the top music video directors: French Michel Gondry and British Chris Cunningham, with the aim of helping to unravel a narrative that is deemed essential in order to understand visual arts in the 21st Century.
The exhibition will also include a Documentation Centre, where a sample of the Asturian video creation of the last decades will be presented.
