The library opened at the coeducational rural school Escuela Rural Mixta El Jardín, in Puerto San José, Escuintla with the participation of José María Alvarez- Pallete, President of Telefónica Europa. The construction of the library and other physical spaces, as well as the renovation of the school’s infrastructure represented an investment of 50,000 dollars.
