What is an RSS feed?

This is an XML format which is used to provide frequently updated information from one or more website to subscribers. It is a quick and simple way of receiving and sharing information from a particular website without visiting the site.

How do I subscribe to a Fundación Telefónica RSS feed?

In order to read the feeds you need an RSS aggregator or reader. These are programs which can read and interpret RSS sources and feeds and which alert you when there is new information. There are three categories of these:

  • Software: this is installed on your computer. In order to add the RSS feeds you need to paste the URLs into the software.
  • Web tools: no installation required. In order to subscribe to one of the most common, Google Reader, copy and paste the address of the feed into the "Add a subscription" option.
  • Browsers: The latest versions of browsers, such as Firefox 3 and Internet Explorer 7, include RSS feeds as value added services. Click on one of the links above to open a page where you can subscribe to our RSS channels.
