arsVIRTUAL, a programme carried out by the Fundación Telefónica has become a benchmark in the area of projects that disseminate Cultural Heritage, thanks to the great possibilities offered by new technologies, especially those that are applied to 3D virtual reality.
arsVIRTUAL offers Internet users a unique opportunity to visit the main monuments in Spain, Latin America and Morocco, as well as to learn about the work that has been carried out over the course of several years, in the areas of digitalisation and conservation of our Heritage.
Each of the 3D virtual visits allows the discovery, with an incredible degree of realism, of a great number of details and ‘secrets’, some of which are not accessible to the general public. It is possible to visit the Church of the Holy Family (Sagrada Familia), Cusco Cathedral in Peru or the Sultan Hassan mausoleum in Morocco.
