| Daniel Canogar was born in Madrid in 1964. He lives and works in Madrid. He studied visual communications at the Universidad Complutense and received his Masters in photography from NYU/ICP in 1990. He is the author of Ephemeral Cities; Universal Exposition: Spectacle and Technology, Julio Ollero Editor, Madrid, 1992, and Spanish Pavilions in Universal Expositions, Sociedad Estatal Hannover 2000, 2000. He has been awarded numerous grants and artist-in-residence positions and has appeared in group and solo exhibitions worldwide. His work has been exhibited at the Fundación Arte y Tecnología, Madrid; Palacio de Velázquez, Madrid; Galería Helga de Alvear, Madrid; Galería Estrany de la Mota, Barcelona; Espace dArt Yvonamor Palix, Paris; Centre dArt Contemporain de Basse Normandie, France; Axe Neo-7, Quebec, Canada; Metronom, Barcelona; Centro de Arte Santa Mónica, Barcelona; Artist Space, New York; Museo Alejandro Otero, Caracas; the Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, Ohio; the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein Westfallen Museum in Düsseldorf and the Hamburger Banhof Museum in Berlin
