"LA REGIÓN CENTRAL"

versión en español

La Región Central, a video-installation with projections onto screens that participants can walk through, is a poetic voyage of gradual discovery.

We are here: in this Hesperian suburban development. A city whose gardens have no golden apples, fear is the only thing that grows, space is reduced and objects lose their tangibility, escaping towards the impalpable. In the darkness of the streets, things appear then disappear; there are no longer distances, only depth. Immediately behind this area, the white nothingness begins... Here in the tunnel, the core of our existence, the material and the spiritual merge together in a passageway full of trails, where the web of paths is really a nexus of communication, and all those who pass through it suddenly shudder as if the soles of their feet had touched their own grave... In this tunnel, the invisible world vanishes and the soul, unleashed from time and its deceits, returns to the first night which is also the last.
